The elos and Soft Light is safe for most areas including the face, underarms, legs, bikini area and back. Our clients include both men and women.

What does it involve?

The Galaxy powered by elos combines gentle light and electric energies to damage the hair follicle and gradually reduce the hair growth. A clear gel is applied to the skin, and the hand piece carefully moved across the area. The sensation, often described as a series of 'hot pinches'
or 'snapping' lasts for a fraction of a second and is followed by a warm tingling feeling for a short time afterward. A cooling device is available for use for added comfort.

Soft Light's NdYag laser is attracted to a carbon gel which is applied to skin, leaving residual carbon in the hair follicle. The laser hand piece is then passed over each section of skin, removing the carbon and 'bleaching' the hair, which is shed in the following days. Like the elos,
the sensation may be described as a snapping of a rubber band.

Duration

Sessions last from 20 minutes to two hours, depending on the area treated. Multiple treatments are required to achieve long-term hair reduction, and it is important to plan the time between treatments in accordance with hair growth cycles.
