Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
I was born and raised in Melbourne. After completing my medical degree at Monash University, I enjoyed time as a hospital doctor at several Melbourne hospitals. After a year in general practice I decided to train as a surgeon, which included a year in Winchester, England.
Becoming a Plastic Surgeon required several more years of work and study at the Royal Children’s Hospital and the Victorian Plastic Surgery Unit. I was also fortunate to spend another year in England, in a unit that specialises in cleft lip surgery in Frenchay, Bristol.
Plastic surgery is unique in that it is possible to perform both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. Increasingly my interest has turned to procedures of an aesthetic, cosmetic nature, and for the last 12 years this has been the focus of my practice.
I am married with an adult son and daughter.
